Anita Barone
Barone played in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld's fourth season as Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Early in the 1990s Barone was a regular on Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone also played the ex-wife of Geller's character, Carol Willick, during her first appearance on Friends. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show due to her desire to be a part-time character in a larger part, was able to fill her. Barone was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 through 1996 as well as The War at Home between 2005 and 2007. Barone was co-starring alongside Daddio in 2000. Her other TV credits include Desperate Housewives: Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. The film she acted in, One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. The following year, three years following the time that The War at Home ended its run Barone began her recurring role for Shake It Up, a Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of Barone's character, for two seasons.
